The Pilates Method was developed by Joseph Pilates and includes over 500 exercises designed to build core strength and promote body alignment.

It’s focus on abdominal and spinal muscles leads to a stronger more stable core which both relieves pain and prevents injury.

The Pilates method of exercises emphasize the smaller postural muscles that often get overlooked in regular mainstream exercising: deep abdominals, lower back, deep buttocks, inner thighs and hamstrings.

Dancers have studied and practiced Pilates for several generations as a means of achieving length, strength and flexibility, exemplifying the long and lean form achieved through the Method.

For those brand new to Pilates we believe that is in your best interest to take 3 private sessions in order to gain the necessary fundamentals to begin a regular Pilates practice.

Upon completing 3 private sessions the instructor will assess your progress and advise you on your appropriate next step.
